How do I access the Landlord Portal?

The LandlordPortal is now integrated into MyReedsRains, which gives you online access to all your property information whether you are a seller, buyer, landlord or tenant.  To access your LandlordPortal visit my-reeds-rains/login

Where do I get my login details?

If you are a new customer, you will automatically receive an email from myreedsrains@reedsrains.co.uk with instructions on set your password and login.

If you are an existing customers and haven’t ever used your MyReedsRains account, or are unsure whether you have an active MyReedsRains account, go to reedsrains.co.uk/my-reeds-rains and select ‘Don’t know your password’ and we will send you a link to reset your password and to set up your account.

In all cases, please make sure you use the email address you have given to your Reeds Rains branch when registering.

I have forgotten my password, what do I do?

Simply visit reedsrains.co.uk/my-reeds-rains and click on the ’Don’t know your password’ link below the log in box. You can then request a link to reset your password.

If you’re still having issues logging in then you can click on ‘Still having trouble logging in’ and you can complete the form, detailing the issue and one of the team will come back to you within 3 working days.

Please make sure you use the email address you have given to your Reeds Rains branch when registering.

Is there an app?

There is an web based app, which means it can be installed through your account. You won’t find it in the App Store or Google Play. When you login to your MyReedsRains account and follow the steps to complete your account, you will then be given the option to “Install app”. You’ll then need to follow your device specific prompts.

If your device uses FaceID, or other security methods, these can be enabled once the app is installed.

Why can’t I find the app in the App Store or Google Play?

It does not appear in the App Store or Google Play because it is an web based app, not a traditional device based app. After you have logged into your account on your phone and installed the app through your account area, the app appears on your home screen and behaves like any other app. Facial recognition can be set up and notifications can be received and customised.

How to save to your mobile phone home screen
  1. Go to the Reeds Rains website
  2. Tap the “Share” button
  3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen” 
  4. This gives you a home screen icon that looks just like app icons

If you access the LandlordPortal via a desktop device, don’t forget to bookmark the page so you can easily find it next time.

Can I get statements, how and where from?

You can access statements from the LandlordPortal . Simply select Statements from the dashboard and you can view your statements. You can also download statements as a pdf.

Will I also get paper statements?

It is our intention, over time, to phase out paper statements wherever possible.

Why does the Landlord Portal have to have 2FA (2 Factor Authentication)?

Keeping customer information and data is important to us. Two-factor authentication adds an additional layer of security to the authentication process by making it harder for hackers to gain access to a person's devices or online accounts because, even if the victim's password is hacked, a password alone is not enough to pass the authentication check. Matters relating to property ownership are particularly attractive to hackers.

Will the Landlord Portal help me contact the right department quickly?

There is an extensive contact us section which is designed to make sure your query gets to the right department and is dealt with promptly. You simply select the Contact Us section from the dashboard, select the query you have from the dropdown and your request will be sent to the correct department.

Is the Landlord Portal available to Tenant Find landlords

The LandlordPortal will be of the most benefit to our Fully Managed and Rent Collect Landlords. As we only introduce your tenant to Tenant Find landlords, the majority of the data within the LandlordPortal involves areas in the letting process that we don’t handle e.g. checking in process, statements etc. If you are interested in upgrading your service with us to either Rent Collect or Fully Managed you can discuss with your local branch.
