Well done to our team in Chapel House who have been dedicated, this month, to supporting our 5K a day challenge in aid of Cash for Kids.
Colleague, Deni Lynch, at Reeds Rains Chapel House explains:
“The team has tried to do as many individual 5K challenges as we can during the month – including a few 5K’s on the treadmill and static bikes at the gym as well as long walks across Rosebery Topping, High Force Waterfall and Skafell Pike. This one, in particular, was a big one and took 6 hours. We liked the idea of taking part in a bigger challenge and have also walked up to Penshaw Monument too – up a very steep hill.
"Each challenge proved tiring but we think it’s important to support children and like the idea that it’s for those in the local area. They have had a hard few years and we know that our efforts to fundraise for Cash for Kids will be worth it.” .
