We’re pleased to announce that Reeds Rains will be supporting Mission Christmas this year which aims to ensure children, who are living in poverty, wake to a gift on Christmas morning.
The initiative is being organised by Cash for Kids - the Bauer Radio’s network of local charities, which operates across 23 areas around the UK - who Reeds Rains works closely with each year in raising money to support disadvantaged children. This year, in particular, we were able to support families who had been pushed into poverty as a result of the pandemic; ensuring essential items such as food and heating could be provided to them.
In a similar vein, Mission Christmas encourages donations of gifts - or cash donations - for disadvantaged children in the age range from birth to 18 with Reeds Rains branches acting this year as designated drop off points before local teams arrange for them to taken to the special Mission Christmas HQ’s which have been set up across the country.
The deadline for donations - which should be unwrapped - is December 17th; allowing time for the items to be distributed in time for Christmas Day.
We hope that many in the communities in which we operate will embrace this opportunity to help others, particularly during this festive season and in view of the difficulties that many have faced in recent times.
Gifts can be donated at your local Reeds Rains branch every day, except Sunday, during normal office hours. Click here to find your nearest branch.
Thank you for your support.
