We’re delighted that Reeds Rains has been announced as the joint winner of the Best Team Fundraising Award at the Agents Giving Fundraising Champion Awards 2021.
It comes following our success in raising more than £27,000 for grant giving charity, Cash for Kids, this year and, as the event organisers explained, "recognises the team that has been committed to carrying out fundraising in their local communities and neighbourhoods, showing understanding of the needs for local causes.
A team who has involved everyone in their community efforts and most of all pulled together when they needed to, showing true team spirit, a team who works well in and out of the office environment".
The Award (which was won jointly with Thomas Morris estate and lettings agency) was one of just 11 awards handed out at a special awards event organised by property industry charity, Agents Giving, which brought together estate and letting agents from across the UK in celebrating and recognising the fundraising efforts of the UK property sector – with awards presented by Agents Giving Patron and TV personality, Phil Spencer.
Louise Hudson, Marketing Director for Reeds Rains, who accepted the Award, commented: “This is such well-deserved recognition for our teams who went above and beyond to raise money for Cash for Kids, this year, despite the fundraising challenges and restrictions that Covid-19 brought. So many great fundraising activities were organised by colleagues and it’s because of their determination that we’ve been able to, once again, support so many disadvantaged children and young people in the communities in which we operate. I know everyone across Reeds Rains will be delighted to hear this news.”
