Teams across Reeds Rains are now eagerly taking part in a wide range of fundraising activities in support of Cash for Kids with the aim to raise as much money as possible for disadvantaged children in the communities in which we operate.
Included in this is our Branch Manager in Cheadle, Myles Sinar, who plans to cycle 100 miles, in just one day, with the support of his colleagues across our North West branches. Here Myles explains more:
“I decided I’d like to fundraise for Cash for Kids as it’s such a worthwhile cause and, ultimately, children are our future.
I regularly cycle and, as well as this, often liaise with colleagues across neighbouring branches in my day to day role. It just made sense to combine the two into a fundraising challenge. It means on May 27th, the main Cash for Kids fundraising day, I’ll set off from the branch in Cheadle and cycle from one Reeds Rains branch to another, across the region. There’s 13 I plan to visit and each time I hope to gain the support of my colleagues, and any customers who may be visiting them at the time.
It’s all with the support of my Regional Managing Director, Kevin Beastall, as well as my Area Director, Nick Bower, who are supporting me in doing this and I hope will lead to at least £500 being raised for Cash for Kids.
I know it’s going to be tough but it’s just my way of supporting Cash for Kids and I know that, despite the aches and pains I might suffer, it really will be worth it.”
