Hyde and Denton are located in the Tameside borough of Greater Manchester, and the towns benefits from excellent commuter links to the nearby towns and cities as well as being close to the beautiful landscape of the Pennines and Peak District National Park.

Hyde and Denton have excellent transport links to the surrounding area including Manchester and Stockport, served by a number of railway stations including Hyde Central and Hyde North, Godley. The towns have strong road links with the nearby M67 connecting the town to Manchester. Stockport and Glossop is also easily accessible from Hyde via road.
