I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Reeds Rains Hyde. Louise is an excellent manager of the branch, very experienced and smart, knows her stuff, personable and happy to offer further advice when needed. I recall being very impressed by her calm, self-assured, friendly and professional manner when she visited to conduct the market appraisal – that’s what won them my business. The two senior staff, Wendy and Gaynor both have decades of experience, and it shows – they are worth their weight in gold! Wendy stood by me all the way when dealing with a very difficult buyer, the perfect business partner in a very trying situation – and although this dragged on for weeks, she was always fully supportive, always on the ball, forever patient. She has a great sense of humour too, which helped me keep my sanity when dealing with the buyer from hell! :-) Sadly in the end I had to ditch this individual, a difficult decision but backed up by excellent support and advice again from the team. Gaynor then took over for my new buyer, having handled them while Wendy was on leave. She has been equally as helpful, professional and so on the ball with sales progression, I could not have wished for more – what a team! Throughout my journey I’ve ended up popping into the office for a quick chat on a number of occasions, I have always been warmly welcomed and cheerfully given the time and attention I needed – never grudgingly. That alone speaks volumes. Not the cheapest estate agent, but you get what you pay for, and if you want the smoothest possible ride with your sale this is the team for you! If I could change one thing, it would be the Reeds Rains corporate decision to start charging buyers for their identity checks, rather than include this in the costs the company bears for a sale. This is of course all about increasing profit margins – and I can imagine before long all agents will cotton on to this trick – but at present buyers don’t expect it, and it can throw them off; at one point I was on the verge of offering to pay for my buyer! However, I have no hesitation whatsoever in highly recommending to you the services of the first-rate team in the Hyde office. Thank you to all for an excellent service, I could not have done it without you!!
