Well done to Tom Ryan from the Reeds Rains team in West Derby for taking part in a special ‘Gunge the Boss’ event that has been aired on Radio City TODAY.
The event saw radio presenter, Scott Hughes, join Tom's colleagues in soaking him as the ‘gunge victim’ for Reeds Rains, all in support of our Cash for Kids fundraising - here’s the video to show it.
It’s one of a number of activities Tom and the team are taking part in including a challenge to walk, run or cycle 5k every day until today (May 14th) – details of which are on their Facebook page - and an associated raffle which has generated some great prizes.
Tom explained: “I was apprehensive about the ‘Gunge the Boss’ event but it was fine. I was just pleased that it could help with the fundraising for Cash for Kids and that the team as a whole will be able to contribute to this - including myself, Mike the Lettings Manager and Taylor and Tom the Negotiators.
We’re all trying our best to raise as much money as we can because Cash for Kids is such a great charity that helps so many.”
Great effort West Derby - and especially Tom – and good luck with the 5K challenge.
