Reeds Rains Clevedon have decided to start Easter early with a donation, and want others to do the same.
Staff, at the Clevedon branch, have donated a box of Easter eggs to the local foodbank and are calling on other local businesses to do the same.
Charlotte Emsley, director of Reeds Rains Clevedon, said:
“It’s a small gesture that we hope will give people who are currently having a bit of a tough time, a feeling of inclusion at Easter.
As well as providing a small treat we hope it shows families that people care about them. We did the same last year and after the event other people said they would also have donated eggs if they had thought about it, so we thought we would give them a gentle reminder this year before it’s too late!
We are also happy for individuals to donate an Easter egg to the foodbank, via our Triangle office and we will happily deliver it.”
If you are interested in donating an egg, come down to the Reeds Rains Clevedon branch at Triangle House, 5 The Triangle, Clevedon, BS21 6NB.
